March 22 Monthly Grief Walk- Olympia, WA

We are returning to Watershed Park, the site of our first Hike Habit 2018. This trail holds magic following Moxlie Creek to its origins. It can be muddy in low spots and hilly as well so bring your hiking poles if you have them. It is still a good hike for kids and beginners.

Registration is required. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Please leave pets at home; trained service animals are always welcome.

This walk is full. Click here to sign up for the waitlist. There is a good likelihood of getting a spot as we approach the date of the walk.

Every grief walk begins with an opening circle, an acknowledgement of who is here and who we are carrying in our hearts. Then we walk in silence for 10 minutes. Soon the group morphs and changes, forming small groupings or solitary walkers. We acknowledge that each of us is somewhere in our grief journey and all are welcome. We will stop occasionally on the trail to share or just notice in silence. We will end back at the shelter where we began and have a closing circle.
